A touch of 1930s Hollywood glamour is coming to town from Saturday – in the shape of a stylish photography exhibition.
The Nostalgia exhibit begins this weekend at Animal Studios, and showcases the photography of Jez Brown, and styling prowess of Sarah Dunn of Sarah’s Doo-Wop Dos.
Nostalgia marks a milestone in a long-standing partnership between the pair, and takes in a body of work lasting five years.
The photographs pay tribute to cinematic greats such as Veronica Lake, Barbara Stanwyck and Jean Harlow.
Mr Brown said: “We are delighted to be bringing this exhibition to the Animal Studios, it’s the perfect space for us to display this project.
“The exhibition is something new and exciting for me as I have never exhibited my work before, so it’s a completely new venture.
“I wouldn’t be producing the kind of work I am today without Sarah alongside me.”
The exhibit opens to the public on June 27, and runs through til July 2.
And prior to the official launch at midday, Sarah will be running a pop-up beauty bar, offering Hollywood makeovers to get everyone ready.
She said: “I’m very excited to be involved with this project and have had the pleasure of working with Jez Brown for several years now.
“Having watched his work go from strength to strength, I think this body of work is his best yet, and I’m very excited to share it with the public.”
