Residents across Bedford borough are being invited to attend a free open weekend at Kempston Pool to showcase the leisure centre’s new Fitness and Indoor Cycle studios.
The studios will be open to both members and non-members for free on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 from 9.30am until 2pm.
Visitors can take part in a variety of exercise classes, such as indoor cycling, combat, box fit, Insanity, Pilates, high intensity interval training and Zumba, to try out the new studios first hand.
The redevelopment projects listed above are part of Fusion Lifestyle’s 10 year programme for the area, which will invest significant sums in improving the town’s sports and leisure facilities.
Kempston Pool general manager, Samantha Lawrence, said: “We are really excited to be launching our new fitness studios. We have a great range of exercise classes available at Kempston Pool and it’s fantastic to be able to offer something new to our members and the local community. Exercise classes are a really fun way to get fit and are suitable for people of all ages and abilities, so I’d encourage everyone to come along and try one out!”
Spaces for the open weekend exercise classes are limited, so people are encouraged to view the full timetable and secure a space in advance by visiting www.bedfordleisure.com/kempston or by calling 01234 843 777.
Kempston Pool is managed by the registered sport and leisure management charity Fusion Lifestyle on behalf of Bedford Borough Council. Memberships are available for all in the community.
As a registered charity, Fusion re-invests all monies received back into improving sport and leisure facilities locally.
