Kempston man suffers head injury in fall


Magpas Helimedix came to the rescue of a man who had suffered a head injury in Kempston on Tuesday morning.

Doctor Nathan Howes and Paramedic Ash Richardson arrived via a Magpas Rapid Response BMW at 10.45am after the man in his 60s suffered a fall in an outbuilding.

They assessed the patient who had suffered a head injury, administered an anaesthetic and provided trauma care at the scene.

The Helimedix then accompanied the patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the man was in a serious but stable condition.

EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews were also present.
