Next is unveiling its new store at 10am on Wednesday, its first in the town.

Up to 45 new jobs have been created at the store, which covers 14,450 square feet and will be next to M&S.

And a planning application has gone in for signage for Outfit, between matalan andTK Maxx, which will house stores by TopShop and TopMan, Miss Selfridge, Wallis, Burtons and Dorothy Perkins.

The new Next store will include a shoe room showcasing all the latest styles from the newest collections, along with fashion for the whole family in women’s, children’s and men’s departments.

There is a home department too, plus a Costa Coffee for when you need a break from all the shopping!

Next is hosting some exciting giveaways to celebrate the opening.

The first 20 people in the queue on Wednesday July 13 will be given a Goody Bag.

All of the goody bags contain a gift from womenswear, menswear and home so there is something for everyone. If that’s not enough, they will be running a competition for customers for three weeks in store to win a gift card totalling £250 for customers to spend on what they want!

Store Manager, Jade Smith, said: “Everyone in the team is really excited to welcome customers to our new store which has an extensive range of products for the whole family and the home too. If you fancy a quick break from the shopping we’ve got a Costa coffee with free Wi-Fi. Can’t wait to see everyone in store soon!” The retail park opened last year and so far Pets at Home, Halfords, Bensons, Laura Ashley and Matalan have opened

More than 450 new jobs will be ceated.
