Information needed to catch park robbers

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Bedford.

The victim was approached by two men in Russell Park, who demanded his wallet and threatened him at about 10.30pm, on Friday (March 4).

They were described as approximately six feet tall, wearing gloves and had concealed their faces. One was wearing a jacket with a fur-lined hood and the other one was wearing plain hooded top.

Investigating officer DC Karl Heywood said: “This was a nasty robbery and we are keen to find those responsible.

“We are asking for anyone who has any information that could help with an investigation to get in touch.”
