Hunt for mystery car as victims of horror Luton crash are named locally

Police are investigating a horrific road crash in which an 18-year-old girl and two other people in their 20s were killed.

The three young friends died when their Vauxhall Corsa car is believed to have been involved in a head-on collision with a red Jaguar XS around at 11.20pm last night.

The male driver, 20, and a female passenger, 23, were pronounced dead at the scene and a second female passenger, 18 later died in hospital.

The female victims were named locally as Beckie Nabarro, 23, of Luton and care worker Casey Flissikowski, 18, of Milton Keynes.

A co-worker from Haywood House Care home, where Casey had worked for more than a year, said: “She was popular with staff and students and dedicated to looking after people.”

The driver of the Jaguar, a man in his 60s, also from the Luton area, is being treated in hospital.

A Beds Police spokesman said: “A full fatal collision investigation is underway and police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident. “Officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of an unknown vehicle which was travelling in front of the Corsa.”

Tributes to the three victims have been made on social media.

Becky Sporzio Pink wrote: “I want to cry. Such a devastating loss of such young lives. Families will never be the same. Fly free young ones. Rest in peace.”
