If you are buying in to the music scene’s “vinyl revival” make a note - Bedford’s pop-up shop is bringing proper records back to town.
The third BedPop Record Shop is taking place in The Lane bar, in Castle Quay, and promises a festival vibe with musical entertainment and an official beer.
Organiser Alan Cooley said: “We have curated a live music stage and roster of DJs to provide non-stop entertainment and, weather permitting, we will be throwing open the doors and taking the party out onto the terrace too.”
The live line-up includes Minnie Birch, Rebecca De Winter, Silver Tongue Bandoliers, Painted Lady and Simon Gutteridge.
BLESSEM and Paul Jackson (The OmniVibes) return and Scruff frontman, Adam James Urwin, takes a break from the studio where the band are currently working with producer James Lewis, who notes Arctic Monkeys as a client.
The event is sponsored by My Generation Beer Co. and runs from 10am to 6pm, on Saturday April 25. As well as the high-quality vinyl, there will be CDs for sale.
