People who live and work in Lidlington are being asked for their views on proposals to improve and make safer two railway crossings in the village.

This is part of the wider East-West Rail (EWR) scheme, which is designed to eventually link Oxford to Ipswich, via Milton Keynes, Bedford and Aylesbury.

The relevant bridges are the current half-barrier Marston Road crossing, which would be replaced with a road bridge over the railway, and five options to replace the pedestrian crossing at School Lane.

These proposals are based on feedback from local people at the first round of public consultations in September 2015.

Drop-in sessions to discuss options run from 3-8pm until on Wednesday, June 8, and 10-2pm on Thursday, June 9, at the Church Hall.
