A new website has been launched to help people give instant feedback on health and social care services.
The Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire website is now fully live and interactive.
It gives people the chance to comment and review the services they have received, whether it has been a positive or a negative experience.
People can visit www.healthwatch-centralbedfordshire.org.uk to talk about the services provided by pharmacists, dentists, doctors, hospitals and social care workers.
Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire Chief executive Diana Blackmun said: “Every day, people give feedback online about services they receive from different organisations. By accessing our website this enables the public to do just that from their home, office or even while waiting to see their doctor.”
The information will be collected and used to give feedback - complimentary or challenging - to Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire, which is an independent consumer champion that aims to improve care.
Best practice can be shared among others providing a similar service and poor service can be flagged up and addressed.
The website information will work alongside traditional ways used by Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire for collecting feedback – from meeting people face-to-face at community events or by completing surveys and forms or telephoning direct.
