Green's race to win council seats starts now
The Green Party has set its sights on winning council seats in 2019 as support for the party grows in Bedford.
At its first regional meeting held in town on Saturday (February 20) regional campaigns coordinator Martin Schmierer said the event reflected the party’s increase in popularity over the past 18 months. He added: “Our campaign to win our first councillors in the town starts now.” The meeting also discussed local authority housing.
