A pro-golfer is encouraging new players to take up the game by taking beginners out on the golf course on their first lesson.
Former Ladies European Tour player Adrienne Engleman decided to do away with the traditional six weeks of hitting balls on a driving range by using a learning-while-playing approach.
She said: “I find by encouraging and supporting, rather than technical coaching, beginners seem to be benefiting and improving far quicker than if they had been doing the more structured lessons.”
Adrienne also teaches children and people with disabilities across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire, including Colmworth Golf Club.
