Golden daffodils herald the arrival of Spring
A host of golden daffodils have bloomed along The Embankment, a sure sign Spring is on its way.

The nodding yellow heads caught the eye of reader David Randolph who snapped this glorious photo.
But it is not time to ditch the hats and gloves quite yet - the Met Office forecast for Bedford predicts the cold, sunny spell will end on Wednesday as it becomes overcast, with overnight rain, and possibly sleet to follow.
