The weekend fundraisers in July will be taking place at Priory Park to help raise funds for Cancer Research UK with 5k, 10k and a run through the mud!

The fun starts on Saturday, July 2 with the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k at the park off Barkers Lane.

This is a muddy obstacle course and you must be over 13 years old to take part.

Take a change of clothes for after your event and a towel to wipe off the worst of the mud - there are no showers or lockers at Pretty Muddy events, but there will be a bag drop area. Admission is adults (16+ women-only) £19.99, child entry (13-15 girls) £10.

The Race For Life 5K and 10k races will take place on Sunday, July 3 at the park off Barkers Lane.

The 5k and 10k races, open to all ages, can be completed by running or walking or even dancing your way round the course.

You can now take advantage of an offer of entering either race before the end of January for the price of £10. Normal admission will be adult entry (women aged 16+) £14.99, child entry (girls aged 6-15 and boys aged 12 or under) £10, under aged 6 entry for girls and boys is free with no registration needed.

The races start at 11am. Visit
