Hide AdEvent organiser, and school equality and diversity manager, Tracy Wilson said celebrating cultural diversity is embedded in the curriculum and school life.

She added: “We provide the children with opportunities to learn about the world in which they live in and to celebrate who they are. These experiences help our children understand that even though we belong to groups and that we are all different in many ways.
“Relationships are improved by our appreciation for diversity and the rejection of stereotypes.”
During the week, pupils will travel round the world with activities from Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Europe.
