Gallery: Big lunch event an 'amazing' family day out
The Big Lunch, organised by the Road Victims Trust, attracted more than 4,000 people to enjoy live music, a dog show, dancing and sports activities.
There was also a hand-picked selection of stalls selling home-crafted items, and offering information.

Hide AdRVT spokeswoman Jenny Hillam said: “What an amazing day. The sun shone and the people of Bedford came in their hundreds to enjoy a family afternoon in Bedford Park.
“We cannot thank them enough for coming along and showing support, not only to us but also the local small craft and business stalls.”
The event, on Sunday, June 5, also saw the debut of the Unrideable Horse, built by the Men In Sheds group.
The Big Lunch was supported by The Pavilion in the Park, and opened by Bedford Deputy Mayor Charles Royden.
