Gallery: Big lunch event an 'amazing' family day out
Blue skies and the well-kept greens of Bedford Park provided the perfect setting for a community picnic.

The Big Lunch, organised by the Road Victims Trust, attracted more than 4,000 people to enjoy live music, a dog show, dancing and sports activities.
There was also a hand-picked selection of stalls selling home-crafted items, and offering information.
RVT spokeswoman Jenny Hillam said: “What an amazing day. The sun shone and the people of Bedford came in their hundreds to enjoy a family afternoon in Bedford Park.
