Free workshop to prepare for Les Miserables school edition

Ever fancied taking a role in the West End hit show Les Miserables?

If you are aged under 19 then there’s a chance of hitting the stage, thanks to a production company which has started producing musicals for the community.

The performance of Les Miserables school edition will take place at Trinity Theatre in December and now a cast is needed.

Chris Ingley, from Toffee Apple Productions who are arranging the production, said: “We are a non-profit organisation which has started producing musicals for the community in part due to our love of theatre, wanting children to develop skills they can use in day to day life and in part to give parents a lower cost alternative to a range of stage schools and professional youth productions taking place.

“We are holding a free open workshop in the church at Bedford Sixth Form at 7.30pm on Friday, July 8, and we would like anyone who is interested in taking part either on stage or backstage to turn up to find out more and to get involved”.

You’ll find Trinity Arts and Leisure on Bromham Road, Bedford, MK40 2QD.
