Focus on cat welfare at Hula open day

A purr-fect open day is being held at an animal sanctuary with a special focus on our feline friends.

A cat welfare presentation is among the attractions at Hula Animal Rescue in Aspley Guise, on Sunday, August 14.

Other attractions include a parade of Hula dogs at 2.30pm, animal face painting and bargains to be browsed in the Pet Bed Shed. Visitors can enjoy refreshments in the Trough Cafe.

The animal houses will be closed on during the open day, which runs from 1pm until 4pm.

Admission is £2 for adults, with children admitted free. All proceeds will go towards the care and welfare of Hula’s animals. Call 01908 584000. Visit www.hularescue.org
