The devastated relatives of a man and his three year old son who were both killed in a Christmas Day crash say the tragedy has destroyed their family.
Adesola Olusoga, 32, of Ryswick Road, Kempston, and his son three-year-old Isaiah Olusoga were tragically killed following a single vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway of the A421 at 11.10pm.
Isaiah’s mother, who was also travelling in the vehicle, was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
The crash happened between the Marsh Keys and Marston junctions.
Adesola was pronounced dead at the scene while his young son was airlifted to hospital but died a short time later.
A tribute issued by Beds Police on behalf of the family said: “Adesola was a loving brother, son and partner and doted on his son.
“The whole family had enjoyed a lovely day together before this tragedy which has destroyed our family.
“Isaiah was completely adored by all of his family. He was a beautiful boy who brought a smile to so many faces.
“Words can’t describe how much they will both be missed.”
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt Simon Goldsmith at the Roads Policing Unit on 101.
