Explorer scouts discover a world of summer adventure

NEARLY 100 Explorer Scouts from Bedfordshire joined 3,500 of their colleagues from across the UK at a 24-hour adventure this month.

The youngsters took part in more than 70 activities, including climbing, rafting and quad biking, at the scouting HQ in Gilwell Park, London.

Rachel Leach, 16, from Maulden, said: “We had water fights with super shooters and tried crate stacking, high wire walking and a 3G ride.”
