If you have ever wanted to get inside refuse collection truck, you’re in luck.

Bedford Borough Council is hosting an open day at Brunel Road Depot next weekend (Saturday, March 11).

The free event from 11am to 2pm offers a unique opportunity to see these vehicles in action.

You’ll get the chance to see a range of vehicles, including refuse collection, recycling, winter maintenance, pothole repairs, and street cleansing vehicles – and you can even get inside.
