"The strategy and action plan will assist the Council in reaching Carbon Neutral by 2030 and improve the local environment through reducing carbon emissions.”

This strategy will remove or offset 7,276 tonnes of CO2 by 2030 from the council’s own operations meaning they will be clean and efficient, and this action will play a positive role in enabling the wider borough to achieve net-zero emissions.
