Three crews called after deliberate fire breaks out at Bedford Prison
Firefighters from Kempston and Leighton Buzzard – as well as Bedford – were called to an arson at Bedford Prison.
The incident happened at 1.40pm on Friday (September 11) – and despite three crews rocking up, the fire was already put out by prison staff.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to make sure everything was A-OK.
