Castle Comedy gets set for a spectacular September show which includes award winners, TV stars, circuit favourites and some magic!

The date for your diary is Thursday, September 11 and the fun is happening at the Gordon Arms Ent Shed in Castle Road, Bedford.

Castle Comedy welcomes back Nish Kumar to Bedford, a sensational act 18 months ago when he visited. He is now a regular on Radio 4 and has just starred in the new series of Comedy Central’s critically acclaimed cult stand-up show, The Alternative Comedy Experience.

He is destined to be a huge star and is currently gaining rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival.

One critic has said: “A comedian on the up - Kumar will soon be getting known for all the right reasons.”

Opening the show is Mike Belgrave, a top circuit pro with over 10 years experience playing the UK’s top comedy clubs.

Completing the bill is Harriet Kemsley who one national newspaper recommends as “One of the top five up and coming funny females” and Stuart Turner who blends comedy and magic with absolute nonsense, always baffling and highly entertaining.

Mc for the evening is Castle Comedy regular and the Bath Comedy Festival New Act of the Year, Paul Revill.

Booking is advised, doors open at 7.30pm for the show at 8.15pm. Tickets are £8 (£5 NUS) or £15 which includes a pre-show meal and glass of wine at the Gordon Arms.
