A driver escaped with minor injuries after their car burst into flames in London Road, Bedford.
Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at about 7.48am on Saturday, November 28, to the incident.
When the crew from Kempston Community Fire Station arrived five minutes later, they found one vehicle on fire.
Using breathing apparatus to protect them from fumes and smoke, they extinguished the fire with a fire hose.
One casualty was treated at the scene for minor smoke inhalation.
The fire was accidental and the incident closed at 8.06am.
