Do you know armed robbers who held up convenience shop?

The hunt is on for two men who carried out an armed robbery in Wixams.

With their faces covered by scarves, the two entered Budgens in Brooklands Avenue, and threatened staff with a weapon.

They stole cigarettes and alcohol before making off at 7am on Sunday (February 28).

Detective Inspector Aaron Kiff said: “This was a very distressing incident for the members of staff involved.

“I would urge anyone who has any information, or saw any suspicious activity in the area this morning or during the last few days, to call police.”
