Discover wildlife on sponsored walk with rotary

  • Rotary walk will raise funds for charity and other good causes
  • There are two routes on offer - 4.5 miles and 1.5 miles
  • Dogs are also welcome on walk

Walkers can discover landmarks and wildlife during the annual Ampthill and District Rotary Club fundraiser.

The sponsored walk, on Sunday, March 29 from 9.30am,is open to all ages and is also dog friendly.

Participants will have the choice of two routes - 4.5 miles or 1.5 miles.

The shorter route will start at Ampthill Cricket Club Pavilion and will be a circular walk around Ampthill Park, while the longer challenge will go along Greensand Ridge past Houghton House and Kings Wood towards Maulden before returning to Ampthill Park.

On their return walkers will be able to enjoy a barbecue and the bar will be open in the cricket pavilion.

Sponsorship money will be split between the rotary club and the individual walker’s own chosen charity.
