The best that Bedford has to offer will be showcased in the High Street this weekend.
Businesses, community groups and entertainers will come together to display their talents in the heart of Bedford on Saturday (June 13).
The community event, running from 9.30am to 4.30pm, will display the wealth of independent retailers in the town.
There will be a ‘Handmade in Bedfordshire’ market and fun for all the family including a climbing wall, face painting and fun fair rides.
Urbanite Hair, based in Mill Street, will be doing charity haircuts on the day for the Little Princess Trust - a charity that provides real hair wigs for children who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses.
To donate your ponytails on the day, book by calling 01234 217991 or turn up during the event.
On Saturday, the High Street and Mill Street, from Duke Street, will be closed to traffic from 6am to 7pm when diversions will be in place.
