Children, parents and staff from Kiddi Caru’s Bedford day nursery have been busy raising funds for the Hula Animal Rescue Centre.
The nursery created a collection point for pet food and also undertook fundraising activities to help raise cash and a combined donation of £230 and pet food was made by Kiddi Caru and One Stop Convenience Stores, pictured.
Hannah Buckley, nursery manager, said: “Hula is a fantastic local charity that has and continues to work hard to make animals lives better. The parents and children really got involved and it was fantastic to be able to make this donation.”
Hula aims to relieve the suffering and distress of animals by providing refuge and care to unwanted domestic animals until suitable permanent adoptions can be found. It also provides help and advice to pet and animal owners or their families who are unable to cope due to a change in their circumstances. Visit www.kiddicaru.com
