Woman taken to hospital after hit-and-run in Bedford

Police are making an appeal after the driver left the scene

The pedestrian was taken to hospital after the collision in Ampthill Road.

Police were called at around 11.44am on Monday (January 27) after reports of the incident.

It's understood the woman had minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

The driver of the car, possibly thought to be a red Audi, drove away from the scene.
