Wanted man caught on CCTV and arrested in Bedford town centre

Police arrested a wanted man in Bedford for failing to appear in court for burglary.

On Friday (January 17) officers were notified by CCTV that he was walking through the town centre.

The force detained and arrested him – and placed him in custody for the night ahead of his court appearance.

Bedfordshire Police stated: "Thanks again Bedford Borough Council CCTV."
