Two men arrested in connection with Bedford stabbing

Two young men have been arrested over a stabbing in Bedford in the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday)

At around 3.20am, police were called to reports a man had been stabbed at the rear of Foster Street.

A man in his 20s was found with two stab wounds to his leg and was treated in hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Today, two 19-year-old men have been arrested in connection with this incident and released on police bail.

The incident took place at the rear of Foster Street

DC Luke Williams said: “We will not tolerate any kind of knife crime and we do all we can to tackle those who use weapons to cause fear or harm to others.

"I would like to appeal to anyone who has any information that could assist our investigation to get in touch.”
