Officers from Bedfordshire Police, assisted by Northamptonshire Police, executed a warrant at an address in Rushden, Northamptonshire this morning (Wednesday).
This was in connection to an incident in Greenkeepers Road, Great Denham, early on Sunday (11 April), in which no one was injured.
Two men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Detective Sergeant Alison Whitworth, investigating, said: “Thanks to information received, we were able to act quickly and have arrested two men in connection with the incident on Sunday.
“We would like to reassure the community that we do not believe this was a random attack, and will never tolerate gun crime in our county.
“We rely on our communities for information to help us tackle violent crime and criminal gangs, so would urge people to keep talking to us and Crimestoppers.”
The two men are currently in police custody for questioning.
