Police are investigating the theft of a tractor and trailer from a farm in Haynes.
The John Deere agricultural machine in green and yellow was stolen from West End Farm overnight between Tuesday, March 24 and the following the morning.
Its trailer - containing a motorised orange winch, eight wheels and tyres, as well as four for a sprayer and another four for a JCB digger - was also taken.
The offenders broke into the tractor and managed to start the engine, before making off through fields via a track to the rear of the farm.
Police believe the vehicle may have been targeted because it was parked out of sight behind large warehouses and not visible from the road.
The tractor has the registration KE07 NBA, engine number CD6068LO23089 and chassis number L07530G541879.
The trailer has the plate number LK09 LHO.
Anyone who believes they have seen these distinctive vehicles in use is urged to call the Bedfordshire Police non-emergency number 101, quoting the crime reference number JD/11488/2015.
