Police set for the Olympics
Around 232 individual officers will take part in the scheme from Beds and Herts joint units, with the number per day ranging from 75 to just one. The operation will last 105 days, from June 4 to September 16.
The majority taking part will be beat officers, but there will also be specialists including motorcyclists, firearms and protection officers.
