Police seize makeshift taser and machete close to Bedford's Ampthill Road

Officers made the discovery following tip-off

Police seized a makeshift taser and machete during a drugs raid in Bedford.

Multiple teams from Bedfordshire Police were given a tip-off there was drug dealing in Millbrook Road, off Ampthill Road.

And on Tuesday, officers discovered the makeshift taser during the search.

According to a police spokesman, the makeshift taser is currently undergoing forensic examination.

No arrests were made but investigations are ongoing.
