Police investigate suspected drink spiking in Bedford bar

The message is stay vigilant as pubs and bars reopen

Bedfordshire Police are investigating a suspected drink spiking incident on Friday night (May 21) at Astons bar in Bedford.

Two women from the same party reported feeling unwell after drinking at the High Street bar.

If you have any information about this incident or believe you may have had your drink spiked that night, call police on 101, quoting reference 142 of 22 May or report it onlineA police spokesman said: "With pubs and bars now reopening, please report any suspicious activity to help us catch those who think it is acceptable to put people in danger."
