Police appeal for information after pedestrian seriously injured in Bedford car collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a car in Ashburnham Road, Bedford, on Friday night (August 5).

Police were called around 11.20pm to the incident, involving a white Honda Civic which was driving towards Midland Road.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 40s, was taken to Bedford Hospital with serious injuries and was later transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information about the collision is asked to contact PC Shona Gillen from the roads policing unit on 101.
