Man stabbed at illegal rave

A MAN was stabbed in the early hours of Sunday morning after an unprovoked attack at an illegal rave.

The 32-year-old victim, who is from Flitwick, is currently in hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.

It is believed he was attacked between 7-7.30am at the rave at Lafarge gravel pits in Willington.

The attacker is described as a white male, in his mid-20s, of slim build, and around 6ft tall. He was wearing a grey Nike hooded top, with white piping around the hood.

At the same event a young girl was injured after falling down.

Superintendent Linda Kelly of Beds Police said: “We know there were a lot of people at the rave who must have seen this man being assaulted.

“I’d appeal to these people to come forward and help identify the man responsible.”
