Appeal to trace man with Bedfordshire links in connection with £1million cryptocurrency theft

Police have released a photo of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft of £1million worth of cryptocurrecy.

Ross Birnie, 44, is wanted on suspicion of theft and officers are keen for anyone with information about his whereabouts to get in touch. He is known to have links to Bedfordshire.

Detective Sergeant Ben Stone said: “We’re currently following a number of lines of enquiry in relation to this investigation and we’re appealing for anyone who knows of Birnie’s whereabouts to contact us.

“He has known links to Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and London. If you see him, please call us immediately.”
