Appeal after violent assault

Police investigating a serious assault in Henlow are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

At around 12.50pm on Friday (2 October) a man was violently attacked following a verbal dispute with another man on a footpath between Orchard Way and Plum Tree Road.

Following the disagreement, the offender assaulted the victim, leaving him with a serious leg injury and minor facial injuries.

The offender is described as white, aged in his late 20s, skinny, and wearing dark tracksuit bottoms with a light grey top.

Detective Constable Paul Breed, investigating, said: “We would be keen to hear from anyone with any knowledge of this vicious incident which left a man requiring hospital treatment for his injuries.

“Anyone who was in the area at the time is asked to contact me so that we can trace the person responsible.”
