Police are investigating after allotments in Bedford were vandalised on Friday, March 20.
Officers received a report of vandalism at the Newnham Avenue allotments on Friday night.
Alan Colley, allotments officer for Bedford Borough Council, said: "There was a great deal of damage done by on the allotments at Newnham Avenue, three sheds can not be repaired and others have been badly damaged.

"This is the second time they have been damaged, on the first occasion, the damage was not as bad.
"They have broken into the sheds and damaged the, some of them can not be repaired.
"They have also damaged equipment from the sheds.
"It is a right mess and it is devastating for the people who come here, the area has been ruined by vandals."
