A blue-eyed ballet dancer landed a role in this year’s Marks and Spencer Christmas advert - after winning over directors at his first ever audition.
Cooper Winter features in The Art of Christmas after impressing directors at a secret audition earlier this year.
Retail giant M&S debuted its glitzy advert to its Sparks loyalty scheme members this afternoon, before it is launched on social media at 5pm today.
Five-year-old Cooper, from Marston Mortaine, was recently spotted by a talent agency while performing at his dance school Arts1 in Milton Keynes.
His mum Neleta soon received a call to encourage Cooper to audition for an upcoming Christmas advert.
“From the moment we got to Warner Brother studios, he loved it,” she said.
“While the other children were sat looking at their ipads, Cooper was up chatting to the directors and working the camera.
“It really suited him.”
The proud mum says her and husband Richard had to “play down” the part in case Cooper was dropped last minute.
But their fears disappeared when they watched as their son steal the show with his blonde curly locks, as he bounces up to the camera wearing a bobble hat.
Neleta added: “We are over the moon and extremely proud of him.
“Hopefully this is the start of something, you never know.”
