Beaver Scouts from Flitwick Scout Group completed part of their Faith badge when they were shown around St Peter and St Paul Parish Church by vicar Lucy Davis.

The children were allowed to walk around the church and asked questions about the pulpit, the pews, the stained glass windows and Communion. They also saw kneelers with details of the Scout group and Beaver Scouts on.

Euan Philips said: “Lucy told us the story of the Good Samaritan and about helping others.

“As Beaver Scouts we help other people.”

Flitwick Scout Group is open to boys and girls aged six to 14.

Among other things, they learn about first aid, pioneering and science, and they also get the opportunity to go kayaking, climbing and camping.
