More festive fun on the music scene is coming your way.
Bedford’s fave punk folk band Fishwife’s Broadside are getting ready for their annual Christmas gig.
This year you’ll need to head down the The Bear pub, in High Street, on Friday, December 19 to enjoy a night of music with these popular musicians.
The fun starts at around 8.30pm.
Meanwhile, over at The Pad Nightclub, a real Christmas cracker is on the cards as they welcome DJ Yoda on Tuesday, December 23.
One of the finest DJs in the world, the legendary Yoda will be gracing the DJ booth for the first time since 2007.
This is a DJ that should need no introduction, one of the finest in the game and a pioneer of the ‘Cut & Paste’ DJ style that has won him plaudits worldwide.
Not just any old DJ, Yoda moves seamlessly from genre to genre, constantly keeping the crowd on their dancing toes! Rising to prominence in the mid noughties with his ‘How to cut and paste’ mix CDs, Yoda is someone more used to playing 2,000 capacity venues, rather than 200.
He has played out at all the major festivals once again this year, drawing one of the biggest crowds of the weekend at Bestival, as well as filling in for Busta Ryhmes on the main stage. The only thing to expect from one of his sets, is to expect the unexpected!
Early bird tickets have long since sold out, you can pick up advance tickets for £10 from Seetickets.com and Boutique Planet. If any tickets are remaining they will be more on the door.
Support on the night from Bedford’s own Mass C. Doors open 10pm.
