Celebrating the benefit of values education at school
VALUES education was celebrated in an assembly.
Eleven values based school from the area met at Roecroft Lower School to celebrate their work and to share their values through music, dance and drama.
Di Thomas, chair of the Values Education Group, said: “Values education is about enabling children to build up a set of values and make the right choices throughout their lives. It encourages positive relationships and a harmonious environment in which to learn and teach.”
Values education was first introduced to a few Bedfordshire schools in 2001.
