CC Smugglers – Bedford’s one-time guerilla buskers – are on a roll. And from those early days of street performances, they’re now selling out venues in their own right and stealing the headlines at the Cambridge, Cornbury and Glastonbury festivals.

You can catch them on Bedford’s Iron Bridge between 6.30pm and 7pm on Friday (June 3) where they’ve been invited to celebrate BBC Music Day for BBC TV Look East.

They’ll be performing their brand new single Rhythm which has been described as “an irresistably exuberant glorious racket.”

They made their radio debut on Bob Harris Country and are now regulars on BBC Radio 2 and Radio 6 Music.
