Case goes to Crown Court
Flitwick man John William Fox was committed to Luton Crown Court on Wednesday afternoon accused of causing the death of Leighton man Gavin Brooks by careless driving. The 71-year-old gave no indication of his plea at Luton Magistrates Court. He was released on unconditional bail until October 3 when he will appear at crown court.
Mr Brooks, 22, was killed in Woburn Road, Heath and Reach, on October 26 after being involved in a collision with Mr Fox’s Land Rover Discovery.
