Thames Valley Police have released an image of 21-year-old Q Johnson, also known as Ricky, or Jamie Sampson, who they want to speak to about a stabbing in Reading, on Boxing Day.

A second man, believed to be in his twenties and may be known as Diego is also wanted in connection with the attack.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Ben Sherriff said: “I would appeal to anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Q Johnson, who is also known as Ricky or Jamie Sampson, to contact police immediately.

The attack, in Reading on Boxing Day, left a 28-year-old man with chest wounds, including a punctured lung. He was treated at The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford but has since been discharged.
