A new superstore is set to open on Bedford Interchange Retail Park.
The Range homeware and DIY store will open its doors on November 29 - creating 150 new jobs in the town.
The chain is owned and run by Plymouth-based entrepreneur Chris Dawson and offers more than 65,000 quality products across 16 departments including DIY, homewares, furniture and arts and crafts.
The new jobs, both part-time and full-time, will take in positions from store and department managers to warehouse and administration staff.
Applications should to be sent to the local Job Centre.
Chris Dawson said: “The continued success of The Range is down to the staff we employ, we are very pleased to be creating a number of jobs in the area and look forward to inviting potential employees to join the team.
“I would like to thank the council for welcoming us and being so supportive.
“We feel that The Range is a unique shopping experience that has something for everyone and we are confident that the people of Bedford will enjoy what The Range has to offer.”
Bedford will be opening on the same day as stores in Southend and Derby taking the total Range store number in the UK to 85.
