Staff at St John’s Special School and College received the books as part of Amazon’s community programme and will be used to help aid development as part of the school’s commitment to providing a supportive and happy environment for pupils, staff and parents.

Amanda Rizzo, interim headteacher, said: “The mindfulness books will be a great support for our teachers and we’re over the moon to receive them from Claudio and his team at Amazon. It’s fantastic to see a local business like Amazon support our school and I’d like to thank the Milton Keynes team for this donation.”

Claudio Innocente, general manager at Amazon’s Milton Keynes fulfilment centre, said: “St John’s Special School asked us for some assistance in getting books for the teachers and we jumped at the chance to help. The school provides a happy and welcoming learning environment for children in our community and we’re pleased to be able to support the teachers with this donation.”
